3 Ways to Become a Manifesting Queen

One of the greatest things that I am so grateful that I have learned in this life journey is the power of manifestation. Goals have turned to reality even beyond my own desires or belief. Many of us have read books like the Secret, A New Earth, and of course ancient teachings premiering these thoughts like the Bible, detailing the way in which to manifest our best life. However in applying these teachings, the modern world can be a daunting blank canvas when navigating manifestation success. Furthermore the dynamic circumstances that life throws at us, although organic, in the moment can feel paralyzing in our journey to manifest our visions. Here I describe 3 ways in which I have learned to see manifestation techniques through and truly own living my best life.

1. Make your vision tangible!

Your vision is your plan, and it is our duty to make this plan as clear as possible. This means creating something physical to begin the process of bringing your vision to reality. Furthermore any plan is only as good as it it’s timeline, so before you begin your process of manifestation, think about a time frame in which you would like to see your vision come to fruition. For me, putting my plan on paper has been a tremendous boost in clarity to my vision. I start with journaling in vast detail what I am grateful for and writing a prayer of gratitude. Then I write down goals for this given time frame, and because I am a visual person I make a corresponding vision board. I treat this process as a sacred ritual, and try to make sure that my energy is in alignment with prosperity. No matter your preferred method of planning, whether vision board, journaling, or something more tactile, make sure to create a detailed map of your goals.

2. Believing takes more than wishing.

All guides to manifestation prescribe faith and wholeheartedly believing that what you are envisioning will come to be; however few tell us how to harness such faith. What I have found with working with so many clients helping them reach their goals is that emotional well-being is key in believing positive things are destined for you. This includes working through any mental health issues like major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, or even trauma. Such issues thwart manifestation due to devastating symptoms that perpetuate self-sabotage, feelings of insecurity or depletion, and constant vigilance. Therapy with a licensed professional is one of the best ways to treat mental health issues, and help you manifest your best life easier. For tips on how to find a therapist for you, read my article: How to find the best therapist for you.  Other components key in harnessing faith in your plan are loving yourself, aiming for a peaceful life, and blessing others, all of which create abundance in your life that makes it easier to believe in positive changes.

3. Reflection

One of the most beautiful parts of the manifestation process is the realization of how abundantly blessed you are in every moment. True manifestation requires constant gratitude and internal reflection on the internal peace and happiness we get just from being. Therefore my manifestation process includes a consistent meditation practice and I truly push myself to constantly honor the divinity within me. Also noteworthy, reflection is the only true way of realizing when your vision has come to fruition, and many times this is when you realize your goals have been exceeded with unexpected prosperity.

Start Small So You Can Walk Tall: You Don’t Need Goals You Need a Purpose!

We are almost three months into the new year. This year is full of a celestial charge. Some have noted that 2019 is “The Year of Perspective” or “The Year of Creativity” either way creativity provides perspective.  As 2018 concluded, there was move towards honing in on one word for the year. This creates a very narrow and focused way of being and doing. No matter where you are in living your “Best Life” here are some tips that can help move into a more lasting change. Goals don’t get it but a deep soul stirring push towards purpose will create a whole new paradigm shift for your life.  As Dr. Michael Beckwith would say, “Sometimes you have to be pushed until your soul can pull you.” Sacred Step Number One: Honor your faith or spiritual practice. No matter what is, create a morning routine that starts without social media or checking your email.  A book of devotionals is great or sacred text of your choice can help ground you. Create a playlist of inspirational or sacred music on your favorite music source. Sacred Step Number Two: Honor where you are! We can sometimes overwhelm our senses with creating a multitude of goals and things to do. Look at one area of your life you want to focus on and start there. It is amazing how focusing on one area of your life translates into other areas. Focus, clarity and discipline can go a long way. Sacred Step Number Three: What is your word? If you have not selected your word already, think about a word you want to carry with you this year. Look up the definition of that word and develop ways to practice the traits of that word, for example: Authenticity.  By definition the word means: to be in true alignment, the quality of being authentic. Create ways to exhibit the trait. For example, Saying “no” to things you don’t want to do and committing to causes, people and or groups that speak to your heart. Sacred Step Number Four:   Your mind is comfortable in the current state of your affairs. In others words your mind is comfortable in the discomfort. Changing your behavior means changing your mind. You may think your mind\’s made up but after years of your subconscious mind programming you are hard wired to thoughts. For example, we start the year off with the idea of losing weight, starting a new business or getting a new job. Your mind freaks out and starts sending you messages that become a distraction and can sabotage your new direction.  So what do you do? Create new neurological pathways. Yes you can pray but if your beliefs don’t change, neither will you. YouTube has great mindset hacks and affirmations that can help you reframe and heal your life. Sacred Step Number Five:   Self Compassion. No matter what, forgive yourself. Love yourself and be gentle with yourself. In the process of change, there will be upsets and path altering. Regroup and start again. Don’t stop and if you can, find an accountability partner to help in your process and preferably with someone who is just a few steps ahead of you.  This way you have perspective and a fire starter to fuel you along. These are just a few steps to help you on your path to a lifestyle change in all areas. Don’t compare your progress to that of others. Comparison is the killer of joy. Find Peace During Your Day With Positive Affirmations

Before the turn of the new year I told myself that 2016 is going to be a period of self discovery and healing. I plan on projecting and promoting positivity and happiness in my life and to those around me in an effort to keep peace in my life. So to start I’d like to share some key components I have utilized in the beginning stages of my journey. Nothing is more helpful on the path towards an amazing day like setting your intentions and goals for the next 24 hours. Personally, I do this by incorporating daily affirmations into my morning routine. Anything from inspirational quotes to mantras can be used to help you set your intentions towards creating a productive and positive day. Adding something like daily affirmations to your routine can help create a sense of calm for yourself and add focus to your life. Morning is the best time to recite or view daily inspiration for me but that doesn’t mean it’s the only possibility; always do what is best for your schedule. For those who may have trouble finding dedicated time during the day for daily affirmations I have another option to consider. I work in a busy classroom full of five and six year olds and, as you can imagine, there are moments where I need to take a break for a little motivation and positive inspiration. The problem lies in the fact that I can’t just stop teaching my students to have personal time for reflection. So my resolution has been to keep inspiration around myself in various forms. From a positive quote on my laptop background to a book filled with self love poems, adding these simple items and ideas into my surroundings has helped create balance and reduce my stress. Remember every person’s journey is different but we all need inspiration to help us manifest. Here are a few affirmations to get your day started:

Could Your Summer Fling be the Real Thing?

Could your summer fling be the real thing? “Summer is where the girls go barefoot and their hearts are just as free as their toes.” – It’s summer and the combination of rose sipping and days spent under the sun can create some very hot summer romances. Your summer fling is the perfect compliment to your summer sixteen, and as we head into the final weeks of summer you may be realizing you don’t want your fling to end. Falling for him or her, you’re wondering if this relationship can last through the seasons. As a therapist, I have worked with many women struggling to evaluate their relationships as well as I have my own experiences with this. What I have learned from my work as a therapist and my own experiences is there are certain common characteristics of lasting love even at the beginning. Here are 5 ways to tell if your summer fling could be the real thing… 1. He takes time to court you Yes, sex with you is so amazing but so is everything else about you too. I realize that “courting” is likely an antiquated term to most, as the old rules of dating seemed to have flown out of the window. However I believe it is still alive and very much well. Or at least it should be. I am not suggesting that women should wear a chastity belt, and circumvent their own desires in order to assess a relationship. However evaluating the quality of the time you spend with your partner is very important. Proper courting, or dating, is a sign that the relationship is not one dimensional and that your partner values getting to know all of you. So if I someone you’re dating takes the time to do things like take you out, ask you questions, call you at a decent hour, or even wait until you’re ready to have sex then there is a good sign the relationship is heading down a path of lasting love.   2. You Help Each Other Out  It’s a hot summer day, and as you are driving to the beach and your car breaks down. Who is the first person you would call if you were stranded? And if you called your summer boo do you think they would be willing to help you. One of the most common factors in lasting relationships is a willingness to help each other. Is that special person there for you when you need them or are they nowhere to be found? Would you drop something important to help out your fling if they needed the same? If the answer is yes, this is another great sign that your fling could be the real thing. 3. Making Plans in the Future  Another important factor in evaluating someone’s intentions is looking at their vision. If your partner has asked you to attend a concert 3 months down the line, it’s a great sign that he or she sees you in their future. Furthermore on the flip side, if your fling is hesitant to accept any invitations for future dates, it may mean they are hesitant to commit to you in general as well. Take time to see if your fling’s vision of the future includes you.    4. Title’s aren’t everything but they are SOMETHING As verbal beings, it is difficult for us to wrap our minds around anything without having a word for it. Even if you aren’t into titles, it may be helpful to take note of how your partner refers to you. Does they introduce you as friend? With just your name? Or do they not introduce at all? The answer is very telling. Also if someone is really serious about sharing a life with you, then they will make their intentions clear. Lasting love is not confusing, and is rooted in truth. So if you are confused about where your relationship is heading it may be time to simply just ask their intentions. Take a chance to be honest about your own intentions and be brave enough to hear if you and your partner’s intentions don’t match. 5. You’ve Met Each Other\’s Friends and Family   This tip is a classic one for a reason, because it’s most revealing. Would you feel comfortable introducing this person to your friends? Do you trust them enough to meet your family? Just as important to ask yourself, has your fling brought you around his friends? Has he or she taken you to the family barbeque? These are all telling signs that the two of you are making efforts to mold your lives together, which is a testament to a lasting relationship. Summer is a magical time and a perfect setting for love. These tips should help you align with your intuition and will likely just amplify what you already know. My ultimate advice is to trust yourself and align with your purpose in life. If you believe your summer love serves your purpose and fits with your current life, be willing to invite it into your future as well. Good luck on your conscious love journey!
